The fifth goal of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals states that it is hoped that the world will practice gender equality and empower all women and girls
which is the original intention of ICDF to host the International Forum on Empower Women, Empower LAC.
We
are very glad to be able to participate in the Empowering Women through Education and listen to three entrepreneurs from Belize, Honduras and Saint Lucia talk about the support and importance of education for a woman. The following is Jardene Marie Gensaya DeLeon, one of our First-year Master student from Philippines, sharing her feedback.

Seeing the faces behind the success stories was very inspiring. Grateful for ICDF thru the IHP for the chance to listen and learn from the narratives of empowered women.
As an ICDF scholar, I was given an opportunity thru education that has changed my life, and it is now a challenge to use that same opportunity to change the lives of others for the better. Empowered women empower women.
